Simply send your broken tape drive or tape autoloader to our repair centre along with your contact details using our online booking form. Unless we have earlier agreed a fixed price repair, we will always provide you with a quote. This allows you the choice of going ahead with the repair or not.
New or Factory Certified Parts Installed
Odyssey use only new or factory certified parts in repairs. We go even further, all DLT and Super DLT parts replaced carry the latest updated standards from the manufacturer.
Tape Drive Repairs: Warranty
Tape drives and tape autoloaders are typically sold with a 3 year manufacturers warranty. Normally, the product will need to be returned to the manufacturer for repair. You would normally need to contact your reseller directly for the correct return procedures. Inevitably, this arrangement means you are likely to have warranty repair delay’s caused through shipping time and RMA approvals. Odyssey can help to reduce much of this hassle by speeding up the booking and repair process. You would need to pay for the repair, but the speed and efficiency of our service often makes clear business sense - especially when your tape drive is a critical part of your business backup plan.
